Spurs are about to make West Ham a laughing stock if new David Moyes claims over the Celtic job are accurate.
With uncertainty surrounding David Moyes’ future at West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur managerless, both clubs have been heavily linked with mutual interest in several targets.
There is no love lost between West Ham and Tottenham at the best of times.
But while Spurs seem to have been the butt of the football jokes for some time now, they could have the last laugh over bitter rivals West Ham.
Hammers News reported at the weekend that Tottenham chief Daniel Levy appeared set to take on former friend and West Ham vice-chair Karren Brady as he switched attentions to Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs are about to make West Ham a laughing stock if new David Moyes claims over Celtic job are true
With Moyes’ Hammers future uncertain, Brady dropped a clear hint last month that Celtic boss Postecoglou would be her choice to replace the Scot should he depart at the end of the season.
Brady’s gushing column on the Australian boss sparked speculation he would be West Ham’s new manager this summer.
No sooner had West Ham been linked, though, than Spurs entered the running.
But now there has been a further twist involving West Ham, Tottenham and Celtic.
And Spurs are about to make West Ham a laughing stock if new Moyes claims over the Celtic job are true.

Spurs move on Brady favourite while Celtic eye Moyes
Because West Ham could not only miss out on Postecoglou to Tottenham Hotspur but lose Moyes to Celtic as a direct result.
The Scottish Sun are reporting that Postecoglou is looking increasingly likely to be lured to Spurs.
And it states that Moyes is likely to become one of the favourites to replace him at Parkhead should that be the case.
It would be utterly ridiculous for West Ham to allow that situation to arise. Especially after Brady’s very public flirtation with Postecoglou.
If Postecoglou has made his mind up that he wants to have a crack at managing in the Premier League – as is being reported – and Celtic are interested in Moyes, then West Ham should be banging their door down over a manager swap.

Hammers simply cannot allow that situation to arise
Postecoglou is exactly the kind of progressive, attack-minded modern manager West Ham need.
Imagine watching Tottenham get to him first after Brady’s comments, losing Moyes and then seeing Spurs revitalised under the Aussie.
It doesn’t bear thinking about. So West Ham must act to prevent that situation from arising.
Here’s a reminder of just some of what Brady had to say about the Celtic boss before the Spurs interest.
Let’s raise a glass to Celtic boss Postecoglou, don’t be surprised to see him make an impact in England….
Whether being emperor of a small kingdom is more satisfying than being president of a big one, the fact is that Celtic are minor players in modern football…
Sky recently signed to pay Scottish football £150million-a-year from 2025, while the company’s current contract with the EFL is £119m-a-season, but is likely to be increased because there is a probable new rival.
Chicken feed compared with the Premier League champions, who will earn £176m from TV money this season alone…
Postecoglou’s feats around the world suggest he would make an impact this side of Hadrian’s Wall and, no, this is not a new defensive strategy.”
