The 24-year-old joined the Hammers from Sassuolo in the summer for around £30 million (Independent).

However, Scamacca has struggled to settle at West Ham and has been linked with a return to Italy.
I personally think that the 6ft 5in striker is a superb player, and has real potential. Moyes just needs to find a way of getting the best out of him in a Hammers shirt.

The Italian striker watched on from the sidelines out in Prague, having recently undergone knee surgery.
After the game, Scamacca was out on the pitch celebrating with his teammates, when he bumped into Moyes:

In the heat of the moment, when emotions can’t really be controlled, Moyes chose to embrace Scamacca rather than shun him.
In my opinion, that puts to bed any talk of the Scot not being keen on the Italian, after Michail Antonio’s ill-timed and unwise comments last week.
I believe David Moyes will have to change his system at West Ham in order to get the best out of Gianluca Scamacca.
However, after the duo’s embrace out in Prague, I reckon that both of them are ready to put in the hard yards to make things work out.
