Some West Ham United fans were troubled by what they saw in a behind the scenes video from the club’s training this week.
West Ham fans are concerned by the club’s lack of transfer activity.
Particularly West Ham’s failure to sign a striker with the season just over two weeks away despite having sold Sebastien Haller nearly seven months ago.
It leaves David Moyes with the injury-prone Michail Antonio as his only senior striker.

Risky business if West Ham go into jam-packed season with Antonio as their only striker
And both Moyes and the Hammers faithful know how risky that is given Antonio’s hamstring problems.
But there is also an element of the West Ham fanbase who still doubt Antonio’s ability to be a top level striker having been converted from a winger by Moyes.
Antonio has proved a real threat up front when fit for the Hammers over the last 18 months.
His doubters – and those concerned that the club is yet to bring in another forward – have pointed to a behind the scenes video as evidence West Ham need to act fast.

Finishing drill in behind the scenes video raises concerns
It is a simple touch and finish session against a goalkeeper.
While Alphonse Areola impressed in goal, Antonio doubters pointed out he finished third last in the drill as Craig Dawson picked up the wooden spoon.
And it did not escape the attention of some West Ham fans looking to make a point to the owners over signings. Even those who love Antonio as a forward.
“I do love Antonio but the fact that our #9, our ONLY striker, came third last in a full-squad shooting exercise is surely proof that we need to sign another, proper striker,” West Ham Analytics posted on Twitter.
“The only two that fared worse than Michy were Ben Johnson and Craig Dawson, it’s actually kind of jokes.”
The post struck a chord with other fans who had watched the video, as you can see from some of the comments.

Michy would comfortably score 15 goals plus if he could stay fit but body won’t stand up to three games per week
As one comment correctly points out, Antonio would comfortably score 15 goals plus for West Ham if he could stay fit.
He has notched 10 in consecutive seasons and is set to become West Ham’s all-time record Premier League goalscorer next term.
But he needs help. West Ham are going to be playing three games per week for a large portion of the season.
And Antonio’s body simply cannot stand up to that kind of workload.
