Seven points in six days can save West Ham’s season and give David Moyes carte blanche to attack the Europa Conference League.
The Premier League relegation battle pressure cooker will be back on full blast this weekend as West Ham entertain Southampton at the London Stadium.
It is the start of an absolutely manic fixture list which will see the Hammers play NINE games in 27 days in April.
The stark reality is that the next four weeks will essentially decide whether West Ham will remain in the top flight and stand one tie away from a European final.
But it is the first week after the international break which could completely turn this campaign on its head for David Moyes and his team.

Because seven points in six days can save West Ham’s season and give Moyes carte blanche to attack the Europa Conference League.
And as bad as West Ham may have been for much of the Premier League campaign, it is by no means an impossible ask.
West Ham are at home against a Southampton side who look set to be without three key players on Sunday.
The Saints are bottom of the league as it is – albeit not by much. So take away their first choice central defensive partnership and top scorer and West Ham should be winning this match.
Newcastle United then visit the London Stadium three days later. No travelling for West Ham again, a night game under the lights, a long trip for Newcastle who have been hit and miss of late.
There is absolutely no reason why West Ham cannot beat the Magpies but even a draw would set the Hammers on their way for a seven-point week.
Because next up on Saturday is the short trip across London to Fulham. Traditionally Craven Cottage is a happy hunting ground for West Ham anyway.
But the Cottagers will be without banned star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and possibly manager Marco Silva too.

With safety assured and a push for the European spots unlikely, Fulham are one of those sides who might be ‘on the beach’ as they say in football.
West Ham beat Fulham 3-1 earlier this season and another win could round off six days with seven points.
Manage that and West Ham will be sitting on 31 points with nine games to go with some of that suffocating pressure released.
From there West Ham would be confident of survival.
And that would give Moyes the freedom to attack the Conference League by sending out his best possible side in both legs of the quarter-final against Gent.
A siege mentality is needed for the coming month at West Ham. Seven points in six days is more than do-able. Let’s hope Moyes and the players step up to the plate.
