‘Sacked in the summer regardless’ is a new claim being made about David Moyes in a website’s West Ham update from sources.
Moyes is a man under intense pressure as his West Ham United side battles the very real threat of relegation.
That’s despite spending £185m on nine new signings in the last two windows.
West Ham are just one point off the Premier League relegation zone. And realistically the Hammers must look to win five of their remaining 13 matches to stay up.

Many feel keeping West Ham up would also save Moyes’ job after links to all manner of managers this season from Rafa Benitez to Jose Mourinho.
But a ‘sacked in the summer regardless’ claim has been made about Moyes in a website’s update from sources.
Football Insider has repeated what David Sullivan told Hammers News at the weekend – that the board remain behind Moyes.
There is a major caveat in the report, though.
Because the website claims its sources have told them that West Ham could sack Moyes in the summer regardless of whether he keeps the Hammers up or not.

“There is currently no plan or strategy in place to replace the former Man United and Everton boss – or talks taking place with other managers,” Football Insider states.
“However, it is believed that a change could be made in the summer – regardless of whether West Ham stay up or are relegated to the Championship.”
Moyes is justifiably under pressure given West Ham have now won only 15 of their last 52 Premier League games under him.
They say when you lose the away fans you’re on a hiding to nothing as a manager.
And West Ham’s hardcore travelling support turned on the manager for the first time since his return to the club in 2020 after the dismal 4-0 defeat to Brighton at the weekend.
Moyes put that particular performance – or lack of it – down to fatigue. So West Ham’s board and fans will be expecting much better against Larnaca and Aston Villa in the coming matches.
