Tottenham are chasing 24-year-old West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen according to a report from the Independent.
The pacy English forward has made a fine start to the 2021/22 campaign and has recently been touted for a call-up to the England squad (Evening Standard). And now it seems as though Tottenham are circling.
Bowen joined the Hammers for around £20 million back in January 2020 (BBC). He has been a real hit at the London Stadium with his hard-working, energetic displays.
The 24-year-old has bagged nine goals and 11 assists in 59 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt). And it’s little wonder why Spurs are interested in his signature.
There is definitely plenty more to come from Bowen.
Tottenham chasing 24-year-old West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen
The Independent reckon that Tottenham are circling the former Hull City ace.
Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo apparently wants to bolster his attacking ranks at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
West Ham will surely resist all moves for Bowen from their bitter rivals Tottenham, however.
The 24-year-old is absolutely vital to the Hammers. David Moyes is a huge fan of him and the fans love him too.
It would take a truly massive offer to even tempt West Ham into selling Bowen. There would be a mutiny at the London Stadium if Tottenham were able to sign him. Let’s hope it never happens.
As long as the board back David Moyes in the transfer market, Bowen can fulfil his ambitions at West Ham. And Tottenham are hardly an attractive prospect at the moment are they!
