One former West Ham United player clearly still has a very close affinity to the East London club.
The West Ham fans have a history of creating very close bonds with our players throughout the years.
The likes of Billy Bonds, Julian Dicks and Paolo Di Canio all enjoy hero status in the East End of London.
However, another cult hero emerged in more recent times.
Pablo Fornals spent nearly five years at the London Stadium before leaving the club five months ago.
The Spaniard’s popularity directly correlated with the love that he showed for West Ham, and his passion and commitment that he displayed on the pitch.
When Pablo left the London Stadium, he sent an extremely emotional message to the fans. It was clear to see just how much he loved the club, and that he didn’t necessarily want to leave.
And now, five months later, it’s even more obvious just how much he loves West Ham United…

The Spaniard is clearly loving life back in his homeland, but his son might just be missing the days of watching West Ham week in, week out!
Once a Hammer, always a Hammer and all that!

How good is that to see! Pablo was adored at the London Stadium, and the feeling was very much mutual.
I can’t help but feel like his talents were wasted under David Moyes, when he was utilised mostly as a left winger.
The 28-year-old is flourishing once again under his former manager Manuel Pellegrini out in Spain with Real Betis.
The La Liga side paid £6.8 million to bring Fornals back to Spain in the January transfer window (David Ornstein).
He has three goals and two assists in 15 games to his name so far, and is being used in his best position – centrally.
I’m sure that Julen Lopetegui would have been able to get a tune out of Pablo Fornals at West Ham, but we’ll never get to see what could have been now.
However, it’s just great to see that the Spaniard and his family still hold the Hammers in such high regard.
