Piers Morgan has goaded West Ham over Declan Rice ahead of this weekend’s clash with Arsenal at the London Stadium.
It’s another Declan Rice derby as West Ham take on Arsenal at the London Stadium this Sunday.
West Ham have good memories of facing the Gunners since Rice’s defection to north London in a £105m deal during the summer.
The Hammers beat Arsenal 3-1 at home in the Carabao Cup before securing an excellent 2-0 win in the Premier League at the Emirates before the turn of the year.
Rice’s push to join a London rival – especially one who are no sure bet to win the elite silverware he craves – does not sit well with man West Ham fan.

But it’s fair to say all parties have done well out of the deal. West Ham were able to sign the brilliant Edson Alvarez, star boy Mohammed Kudus and statistically impressive James Ward-Prowse with the bulk of the Rice money.
Rice has quickly established himself as Arsenal’s best player week in, week out – just as Hammers fans told their Gunners counterparts he would when many were insisting Thomas Partey was the better player.
And Rice himself is playing Champions League football while competing – for now at least – for the Premier League title.
Much has been made about Rice’s £105m price tag. But it was only a record deal between British clubs for a couple of weeks with Moises Caicedo joining Chelsea from Brighton for £10m more.
Arsenal supporters have relished rubbing it in that they lured West Ham’s beloved homegrown captain away.

‘The £105m bargain’
And some Hammers fans enjoyed winding up the Gunners by singing ‘what a waste of money’ when Rice put in what was his worst career performance in the reverse fixture at the Emirates on December 28th.
Rice returns to his old stomping ground this weekend for the first time in the Premier League.
And a so-called Gunners super fan is already on the wind-up ahead of the match.

“The £105m bargain. Declan Rice,” Morgan posted on X alongside a picture of the former Hammer celebrating.
There is contrasting team news for West Ham and Arsenal ahead of the match.
Arsenal have been hit by a major blow ahead of West Ham with three key stars including Bukayo Saka doubtful.
And Lucas Paqueta may have hinted he will return after posting a message on social media only to delete it moments later.
