Football legend turned pundit Paul Scholes has sent stinging message to Jesse Lingard after his latest West Ham links.
It seems West Ham fans are not the only ones who have grown sick and tired of the Jesse Lingard saga.
There are three certainties in the life of a West Ham fan – death, taxes and your club being linked with Lingard in every transfer window.
Lingard had a stint training with the club again back in the summer where he was expected to sign a short-term deal at the London Stadium. It never materialised and he went over to Saudi where no contract was forthcoming either.
We warned on Hammers News before the January transfer window opened that it was completely inevitable that West Ham would be linked once again with Lingard.

Scholes sends stinging message to Lingard
And like clockwork the Hammers were indeed once again linked with Lingard.
Foot Mercato journalist Sebastien Denis recently claiming West Ham could line up yet another move to bring the 32-capped England international back to the London Stadium.
In an “exclusive” Denis said: “Free since last summer, Jesse Lingard is looking for a new club.
“The former star of MU, who is considered extra-community (non French) with Brexit, has been offered to several Ligue 1 clubs including LOSC… interested but already full in extracomm players.
“West Ham still thinks of him, as do several MLS clubs.”
Lingard has barely played any competitive football in the last 18 months. Instead he has continued to post videos and pictures on social media ad nauseam showing himself training to keep fit.
And one of his very high-profile former teammates has had enough.

Legend savages wasted talent Lingard
Paul Scholes has sent a stinging message to Lingard after the latest West Ham links.
Lingard posted a series of pictures of himself training in a gym in Dubai.
And Scholes has responded saying: “Are you just gonna f— about in the gym or are you gonna actually play football?”
Scholes is speaking on behalf of most football fans – let alone West Ham supporters – with his sentiment there.
It is such a waste of supreme talent in what should be some of the best years of Lingard’s career.
With West Ham’s injury problems, lack of funds and desperation to meet their homegrown player quota, it’s likely we haven’t heard the last of the Lingard links either.
