Pablo Felipe cannot return soon enough for West Ham United, so it is brilliant to read suggestions that he has returned to training.
Thus far, Nuno Espirito Santo has been rather vague on the forward’s recovery from a calf injury sustained last month.
Indeed, Nuno has confirmed that Pablo is progressing well in his bid to return to full fitness, though has provided little more insight than that.

The West Ham head coach does generally keep his cards close to his chest when it comes to team news though, so perhaps that is to be expected.
Hours after Nuno said his bit on Pablo, noted inside EXWHUEmployee was asked about the latest with Pablo on social media X.
In response, the account said: “Yes Pablo is back in training and [Freddie] Potts is available for selection having served the 3 games of his suspension.”

West Ham have missed Pablo, with Nuno’s side winning just one of the four Premier League games he’s missed thus far.
Though he may not offer a huge amount in terms of goals just yet, Nuno is pleased with Pablo’s progress since he joined West Ham.

Without him, Taty Castellanos largely has to start up front on his own, changing the 4-4-2 shape that brought Nuno’s side such success between mid-January and early February into a 4-3-3.
Callum Wilson is of course an option to replace Pablo in the starting lineup and thereby keep the shape, but he did not cover himself in glory during Wednesday’s win over Fulham.
West Ham’s bid for Premier League survival is all about momentum. It’s the intangible benefit they over bitter rivals Tottenham right now.
An important player potentially returning from injury for the final few games of the season only adds to that.
While his actual return date remains unclear at this stage, progress can only be a good thing.
