Pablo Fornals sat down for an interview with The Evening Standard and suggested that he would be proud to be a West Ham United fan if he was born in and around the East London/Essex area.

And some Hammers fans reacted on Twitter, praising Pablo for understanding what it truly means to be a West Ham fan.
Fornals joined West Ham from Villarreal in the summer of 2019 for around £25 million (The Telegraph).

The 25-year-old has established himself as a real fan favourite at the London Stadium.
Fornals never stops working and running for the team. He has racked up some decent numbers for a midfielder as well.
The Spaniard has seven goals and eight assists to his name in 69 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).

The Spaniard spoke to The Evening Standard and highlighted how proud he would be if he was born in Essex as a West Ham fan:
“This has been unbelievable. If I was born in Essex as a West Ham fan I’d be proud to be a Hammer. I am playing, trying to help the team in whatever position I play because every day it is a new one or different. I am really proud to be on the pitch helping my teammates.”
Even those who don’t rate Pablo as a player cannot question his commitment, passion and love for the Hammers.
