Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that West Ham’s trip to Manchester United on Thursday is likely to come too soon for Crysencio Summerville.
Konstantinos Mavropanos made his return after nearly two months out during the 2-0 defeat by Liverpool over the weekend. Niclas Fullkrug is also available again following a spell on the sidelines, while Nuno Espirito Santo reveals that Ollie Scarles is back on the training pitch too.
But, while West Ham United’s injury concerns are easing, the team sitting 17th in the Premier League table will still head to Old Trafford without Crysencio Summerville.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Nuno admitted that the former Leeds winger is still feeling the effects of a knock he picked up in the 2-2 draw at AFC Bournemouth.
“I don’t think so, unfortunately,” Nuno said when asked if Summerville will be available for the midweek fixture in Manchester. “He still has some issues. We are still assessing, but I think it is going to be too soon.”
Summerville has been one of the brightest sparks of the Nuno era so far. His ongoing absence, coupled with Lucas Paqueta’s latest suspension, means West Ham will be up against it as they look to emulate last season’s away win against Ruben Amorim’s inconsistent outfit.
“Ollie [Scarles] started training without contact,” Nuno added, a more positive update surrounding the full-back who suffered a dislocated shoulder against Leeds in October. “Not full training yet, but being able [to contribute] in many parts of the sessions.
“You know that we all have issues after games, and maybe later the reports come [about new injuries]. But we are still assessing. One day to go. Hopefully, everyone is going to be OK.”
