West Ham United have been hit with a few injuries ahead of Tuesday’s game against Manchester United.

It’s another huge game for West Ham United in the battle for Premier League survival.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are one of the form teams around now but host a Red Devils side who have won four successive games under Michael Carrick.

While Manchester United have a poor recent record away at West Ham, there’s little doubt that the Irons are hosting them at a bad time.

Injuries have been kind to Nuno of late. For a while, veteran goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski was the only player on their absentee list, other than the suspended Jean-Clair Todibo.

However, speaking ahead of the game, the West Ham head coach has confirmed some worrying news.

West Ham injury latest confirmed but Nuno won’t specify who will be missing

There didn’t appear to be any obvious injuries to have emerged from West Ham’s win over Burnley on Saturday.

Still, when asked about the team news heading into Tuesday’s huge game, Nuno did reveal that “some players” will be missing.

In typically cryptic fashion, however, the 52-year-old would not reveal who.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference, he said: “Unfortunately we’re going to have some players out. It is what it is, but I’m not going to say who it is.”

This is NOT good…. 😡

What's your prediction for the match? And who would we miss most?

West Ham United do not have a free hit against Manchester United

Obviously, much will depend on who is missing.

However, the West Ham United squad isn’t the deepest and the drop-off between players who start and players who come on is generally quite stark.

It’s unwise to specify who might miss the game of course but if it is any of the guaranteed starters, that would be a major blow.

This is not a free hit of a game, after all. Forest, of course, are hosting Wolves and many will be expecting them to win.

Injuries are a part of any season but getting them now is most unwelcome.
