On Saturday afternoon, West Ham beat Burnley 2-0 to move within three points of Sean Dyche’s side and top flight safety with only 13 games left to play.
It’s a major mental boost for the Irons, who have veered between looking like they may pull off a great escape and looking dead and buried at times this season.

Nottingham Forest have an easier next fixture than West Ham United
The fixture list has not been particularly kind to West Ham here.
On Tuesday, Nuno’s side host an in-form Manchester United who look to have been transformed under Michael Carrick.
The Red Devils have won four consecutive games and will head to the London Stadium full of confidence.

So much has been made about the misery of playing at the London Stadium but it has not been a happy hunting ground for the Red Devils.
The Manchester giants have lost on their last three Premier League visits to east London, after all.
Perhaps there really is reason to believe…
