West Ham United sold attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic to Torino in the summer transfer window.
Nikola Vlasic joined West Ham from CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2021 for nearly £30 million, but he failed to establish himself at the London Stadium.
The 25-year-old was sent out on loan to Torino last summer, before being sold permanently to the Serie A outfit for around £8 million a year later (6 foot 2).

Vlasic was never used correctly by Hammers boss David Moyes, and flourished when played in his proper role for Torino last season.
However, things haven’t gone quite so swimmingly for the Croatian this term…
Nikola Vlasic hammered by Italian media after West Ham exit
The 25-year-old has failed to register either a goal or an assist in five games for Torino so far this season (Transfermarkt).
He has failed to make any kind of positive impact for Ivan Juric’s side this term.
This comes after Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic predicted that Vlasic would ‘explode’ at Torino.

And now he is receiving huge criticism from the Italian media. Tuttomercatoweb accuse the former Hammer of going missing for the Turin side this season.
They suggest that he is no longer the ‘pitbull’ he once was for Torino.
Now, although Nikola Vlasic has nothing to do with West Ham anymore, his poor form does vindicate Moyes’s decision to sell him this summer just gone.
At the end of the day, the Croatia international was quite simply never cut out for the intense nature of Premier League football. So it’s irrelevant if he succeeds with Torino. However, the early signs are that he might just struggle with them as well.
