‘First thing I thought of was Paolo Di Canio in that classic Fila kit’

But one supporter told Hammers News he believes his fellow fans will be delighted with the new kit.

He said: “The first thing I thought of when I saw it was Paolo Di Canio, Joe Cole and Trevor Sinclair.

“It’s very similar to that Fila kit without the collar and the bubbles is a lovely touch I have to say.

“I’m not a massive fan of Umbro to be honest. And I can’t stand the white and orange away kit this season, it’s an abomination. But they’ve done a good job on this one, it should be popular.”

The new away kit is said to be white with a blue third kit.
