Mohammed Kudus blown away by one West Ham player’s quality

Mohammed Kudus has admitted that he’s been blown away by one West Ham United player’s quality.

West Ham signed Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer transfer window for around £40 million, with Tim Steidten playing a key role in bringing him to the club.

The 23-year-old has hit the ground running with the Hammers, and has already bagged nine goals and an assist in just 21 games this season (Who Scored).

Kudus is so good that he has forced David Moyes into straying from his usual blueprint of easing new signings from abroad into action slowly.

The Ghana international has settled into life in the Premier League incredibly well, and he seems tailor made for the English game, what with his power, pace and physicality.

Another impressive thing about Kudus is the way in which he has linked up so well with some of his teammates, none more so than Lucas Paqueta.

And the former Ajax man has just raved about the 26-year-old Brazilian star…

Mohammed Kudus raves about West Ham teammate

The Hammers star spoke to reporters after yesterday’s thrilling 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium.

And he offered high words of praise for his teammate Lucas Paqueta, as quoted by the Evening Standard:

“You know the vision Lucas has with those kind of passes. As soon as we win the ball and it’s him, I just get running! I know the ball will come. I was just one-vs-one against the keeper and I did my thing.”

Paqueta provided the assists for both of Kudus’s goals against Wolves, and he notched up another one for Jarrod Bowen’s strike as well.

The fact that West Ham have Paqueta, Kudus and Bowen all playing for us really is quite something isn’t it.

David Moyes has a proper squad of players at his disposal, and the sky really is the limit for the Hammers this season, both domestically and on the continent.

With Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta at West Ham, it’s fair to suggest that we really can dream of achieving anything.
