Michail Antonio has an X-rated West Ham celebration planned as he aims to join an exclusive club with the Hammers.

Antonio has become famous for his hilarious goal celebrations at West Ham.

Whether it is doing the worm, a Homer Simpson impression, the Matrix, dancing Gangnam style or stroking the carpet around the London Stadium pitch.

The converted striker became West Ham’s record Premier League goalscorer as he made a flying start to the season.

That was some achievement given he started life at West Ham as a makeshift right-back.

And when he hit that particular milestone, his most famous celebration yet was born.

Antonio ran to the sidelines having surpassed the great Paolo Di Canio with his 48th Premier League goal for West Ham and did a Dirty Dancing celebration by lifting a cardboard cutout of himself aloft and kissing it in a reenactment of a scene from the hit film (BBC Sport).

West Ham have been hugely reliant on Antonio’s goals since he was converted to a striker by Moyes two years ago.

But the powerhouse has gone off the boil of late, failing to score since netting the winner against Tottenham back in October.

Antonio wants to end his drought, though, and – with 52 goals in the bank now – has his sights set on the next big milestone of joining the exclusive Premier League 100 club.

If and when he hits that target the striker told the Footballer’s Football podcast that he has a rather X-rated West Ham celebration planned.

“It’s one of those things that as soon as you get one milestone you’ve got to always try and reach for the next,” Antonio said on the Footballer’s Football podcast on BBC Sounds.

“Getting (past) that 50 (mark) is unbelievable because obviously so many people play and don’t reach there, it’s a great achievement, especially for me (because) I started playing right-back.

“I’m now pushing for that 100 zone, I want to get that ton. Because why not? Why can’t I achieve it?

“If I got to 100 I’m taking all my clothes off – I’ll keep my slips on obviously, I don’t want to get arrested – I’m taking all my clothes off, I’m running around in my slips mate, I get to 100 I run around in my slips, 100 per cent, get that yellow card. Don’t matter what stage of the game it is, I’m doing it.”
