It seems West Ham United are winning plenty of fans across the football landscape as David Moyes continues to work wonders.

The Scot has turned West Ham from relegation battlers to a genuine European outfit in the last 18 months.

A measure of the job being done by Moyes is the fact West Ham are third favourites to win the Europa League.

That would qualify West Ham for the Champions League, a competition they missed out on by a solitary win last term as the club recorded its record Premier League points total.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

The brilliant comeback win over Leeds at the weekend showcased everything that has been good about West Ham under Moyes.

Togetherness between the players, management and fans. The never-say-die attitude on the pitch and the quality to get results in tough games.

The way the fans celebrated – just days after beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup – says everything about how happy supporters are with what they are seeing.

West Ham have gone somewhat under the radar at times. But now people are really starting to take notice.

Football pundit and presenter Mark Pougatch and ex Hammer Don Hutchison are the latest, saying they simply can’t believe just how good West Ham have become in such a short space of time under Moyes (PremierLeague.com).

“You go to Man United in the league cup and win and you go to Yorkshire and Leeds in the league and win,” Pougatch said in awe on the Premier League’s website.

“This is a serious, proper, proper West Ham team this isn’t it?”

“Do you know what the culture has changed now at West Ham. You can feel it now,” Hutchison responded.

“I think for the first time in a long, long time – and I mean a long, long time – I think West Ham now think they’re a big club.

“And I think that’s from the top, to the manager, to the coaching staff, to the players. The fans are incredible, love the away fans that were at Elland Road… I’ve been really impressed.

“They wouldn’t have won that game four or five years ago. Now you look at them under David Moyes, with (Michail) Antonio back and the squad he’s built and they work incredibly hard…

“The culture, I think, at West Ham has massively changed.”

It is so good to see West Ham being talked about in such glowing terms by one and all.

Long may it continue, starting with the exciting Europa League clash against Rapid Wien on Thursday night.
