Manchester United could be set to beat West Ham United to a truly exceptional player this summer.

West Ham United and Manchester United have both been busy in the summer transfer window so far, and the two clubs have been involved directly in one deal already.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined the Hammers from Man United for £15 million – a deal that Jamie Redknapp couldn’t believe we secured so cheaply.

The 26-year-old will be a great player for us, and the price we paid for him is an incredible steal in this day and age.

Now though, Man United could be set to deal the Hammers a very big transfer blow indeed, and gain some revenge on us.

That’s because Erik ten Hag is eyeing up a move to bring one of Lopetegui’s apparent top transfer targets to Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United could beat West Ham to Ferdi Kadioglu

So according to a report from Takvim, Man United are now in talks to sign Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce this summer – a player who West Ham have been heavily linked with for months now.

Around £30 million is needed to sign him this summer.

The 24-year-old will be worth every penny of that fee, but unfortunately, it seems like he could be out of the Hammers’ reach now.

Turkish football scouting and analysis site Emir Scouting have labelled the 20-capped Turkey international as ‘outrageously amazing’.

Kadioglu possesses truly incredible technical ability, and is extremely press resistant due to his composure in possession.

The Turkey international’s unbelievable technique means that he can invert into midfield from the left-back position

In 37 Super Lig outings, he averaged two tackles and 1.6 clearances per match. During those appearances, he made 53.9 passes per game on average and recorded a completion rate of 84.8% (Who Scored).

West Ham could really do with a player like Ferdi Kadioglu at the London Stadium, to help provide proper competitive and cover for Emerson Palmieri.

If the Italian is forced to spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines, we will have to put up with Aaron Cresswell playing regularly, and Loeptegui cannot afford to let that happen.

Kadioglu would be perfect for West Ham but now it seems like Manchester United could beat us to his signature in the summer transfer window.
