One of West Ham United’s new summer signings has really impressed Jamie Redknapp it seems.
Julen Lopetegui has gone crazy in the summer transfer window, bringing in eight new players to West Ham so far.
And Jamie Redknapp thinks that the Hammers head coach has secured the club an absolute coup.
Amazingly, Lopetegui has already admitted that his summer business is far from finished, and that will get the West Ham fans really excited.
The Spaniard has already spent £130 million strengthening his squad at the London Stadium, and the group of players he has at his disposal means that a top seven finish should definitely be attainable.
In order for that to happen though, Lopetegui will need to start more of our new signings from next weekend onwards.
One of those new arrivals has really caught Jamie Redknapp’s eye.
And it was a huge surprise that he didn’t start the game against Aston Villa at the London Stadium today.
Jamie Redknapp blown away by new West Ham signing
The new-look West Ham United squad has caught the attention of numerous high-profile pundits this summer.
During the past few weeks, Lopetegui has brought one big name after another to the London Stadium, assisted by director of football Tim Steidten.

When speaking on Sky Sports (August 17th, 5:03pm), Redknapp waxed lyrical about Hammers new-boy Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
In fact, the Sky Sports pundit couldn’t believe the price we picked him up for.
He said, “Wan-Bissaka, what was he £15 million did I catch that right? That’s cheap, and for West Ham I think he’ll be a great signing.“
I have to agree, £15 million for Wan-Bissaka seems like an unbelievably good deal for the Hammers.
He absolutely has to start our game next weekend away at Crystal Palace, after Vladimir Coufal looked incredibly shaky today against Villa.
The 26-year-old has blistering pace and rarely gets beaten in one v one situations. He’ll be a major upgrade on the Czech Republic international, there’s no doubt about that.
Jamie Redknapp highlighted how impressed he was by West Ham signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.
Now it’s up to the former Manchester United defender to make the right-back spot his own at the London Stadium.
