West Ham United have been dealt some really concerning injury news it seems.
The Hammers have had to make do without numerous key players for long spells this season.
Graham Potter has a lot of work to do at West Ham in the summer. He has to bring more durable, robust players into the London Stadium.
And he needs to move on as many of the ageing, injury prone players as he can.

Potter has big plans this summer, with a big squad overhaul expected at West Ham.
However, he will need to raise funds by selling numerous players first.
Major blow for West Ham as Nayef Aguerd suffers injury
Nayef Aguerd has been a rock for Real Sociedad this season.
He’s clearly far more suited to La Liga than he is the Premier League.
It has actually been claimed that Potter could be willing to give Nayef Aguerd a chance at West Ham during pre-season.
That surely won’t happen though, with the need to raise funds at the London Stadium so apparent.
Selling Aguerd to Sociedad would help solve a lot of the Hammers’ financial problems.

However, there is a small problem it seems.
According El Diario Vasco, Aguerd is being ‘tormented’ by pain in the patellar tendon of his right knee.
Nayef Aguerd injury has come at the worst possible time for West Ham
West Ham signed Aguerd from Rennes for around £30 million in the summer of 2022 (Sky Sports).
However, he proved to be a terrible addition for the Hammers. He is simply not good enough to play Premier League football, what with his lack of physicality.
He really suffered with injuries during his first two seasons with the Hammers, and proved to be totally unreliable from a fitness perspective.
The good news for West Ham is that Nayef Aguerd has been a huge hit out in Spain with Real Sociedad.
He has been one of the standout defenders out in La Liga this season.
And Sociedad are apparently very keen to sign Nayef Aguerd from West Ham on a permanent deal in the summer.
Let’s hope that his knee problem isn’t too serious, and it doesn’t affect any potential transfer in the summer transfer window, because Potter could really use the funds.
