Mads Hermansen has identified West Ham’s biggest improvement under Nuno Espirito Santo after they drew 1-1 with Manchester City.
The Hammers only had one shot on target at the London Stadium, but it was enough for a point against Pep Guardiola’s side.
They showed the same character that has also earned them results against Manchester United and Bournemouth recently.
Hermansen, who had another excellent performance in goal, recognised the Hammers’ more unified approach under Nuno.

Mads Hermansen says West Ham are ‘playing as a team’ under Nuno
Hermansen highlighted West Ham’s “ability to play as a team” as the reason for their recent improvement in the Premier League.
The Hammers have earned 15 points from their last nine league matches, more than in the first 21 games of the season (14).
While the team often looked disjointed under Graham Potter, every player has been “on the same page” under Nuno lately.
“I think what we have improved the most is our ability to play as a team, and our ability to be on the same page in everything we do,” Hermansen told whufc.com.
“Of course, we work hard, everybody does, to improve. But one thing is working in the right direction as well. I think, especially on that point, we’ve been moving really, really strongly together.
“Also, we deal with our individual situations during the game much better. I just think we’ve improved so much in that way.”
No performance could have shown more unity than West Ham’s hard-fought draw with Man City on Saturday.

Mads Hermansen continues to impress since his return to starting XI
Hermansen’s start to his West Ham career could hardly have gone worse, conceding 11 goals in his first four games.
However, the Danish goalkeeper has been brilliant since Nuno reintroduced him to the starting XI in February.
Hermansen has only conceded seven goals in his last six league matches, with five of those coming against Liverpool.
He delivered another fine performance on Saturday, making two superb saves from Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki.
“I have to deal with every situation as it is,” Hermansen reflected on his display against Man City.
“I was happy with my handling and the one shot from Rayan Cherki [that I tipped onto the crossbar]. I had some good saves on the way as well.”
