Hammers boss David Moyes will be delighted with his side’s recent performances and results, whilst Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has steadied the ship at Anfield with a four game unbeaten run in the league.

That said, the West Ham players will fancy their chances against Liverpool on Wednesday. The Hammers have hit form at just the right time and are playing with real confidence.

Liverpool fans will be angry with official Premier League announcement ahead of West Ham clash
The officials have been named for the game at the London Stadium, via the official Premier League website.
Chris Kavanagh will be the referee but it is the chosen VAR official that might raise some eyebrows.
Neil Swarbrick will be the lead man at Stockley Park.
The 57-year-old was on VAR duty for West Ham’s clash with Chelsea back in February. Swarbrick denied Chelsea a last-minute penalty after Tomas Soucek clearly handled the ball inside his own penalty area.

It was such a glaring error that Swarbrick was actually taken off VAR duty for the foreseeable future by the Premier League after the game.
Well that brief sabbatical is clearly over now and the controversial official will be back behind the screens on Wednesday night.
It would have been understandable for the Hammers fans to have been annoyed by some of the refereeing and VAR appointments over the past few months.
However, this time it’s Liverpool’s turn to be angry, with Swarbrick running his eye over the action despite the fact that he made a glaring error in the Hammers’ favour just two months ago.
