Liam Gallagher has reacted to West Ham’s pulsating 3-2 win over Chelsea in a message posted on Twitter.
West Ham twice came from behind against their fierce London rivals to take a memorable victory at thedeath.
A cross-cum-shot saw Arthur Masuaku score from an outrageous angle.
Hammers fans were sent into raptures.
And so too was music legend Liam Gallagher of Oasis fame.
The Manchester City fanatic was clearly rooting for West Ham as his side battle the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool for the Premier League title.
Liam Gallagher reacts to West Ham win over Chelsea in message on Twitter
Speaking on Twitter Gallagher reacted to West Ham’s win.
“C’mon you Hammers,” Gallagher said on Twitter.
And after Masuaku’s winner he Tweeted: “Wowzerz” and posted a voice message repeatedly shouting “Come on!”
What a legend.
Chelsea started the game brightly but fell behind after some terrible play from Michail Antonio.
The West Ham striker failed to hold the ball up allowing a Chelsea break.
The Blues won a corner and scored when Antonio failed to challenge Thiago Silva who headed home.
Manuel Lanzini scored a lovely penalty to equalise when Jarrod Bowen had been fouled by Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
But poor play in central midfield between Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek once again allowed Chelsea to break and a switch of play found Mason Mount who volleyed home quite superbly – although Lukasz Fabianski will be disappointed to be beaten at his near post.
Bowen got the goal his recent hard work deserved when he blasted a lovely low drive home from the edge of the box in the second half.
And Masuaku won it with just minutes remaining with THAT goal.
