Leeds and West Ham stars Kalvin Phillips and Declan Rice have forged a wonderful midfield partnership for England over the past few months.

There was often a debate amongst Whites and Hammers fans regarding who was the better player out of the two.

Enough of that now though. Both players are outstanding in their own right.

And most importantly, for England at least, Phillips and Rice perform exceptionally well when playing together.

The Leeds man, 25, and the West Ham star, 22, were both brilliant for the Three Lions once again last night during the 4-0 World Cup Qualifying win over Hungary.

The Leeds man was very complimentary of the West Ham ace after England’s win last night.

And he posted a tweet referencing the famous ‘friends’ scene from the Inbetweeners:

The two players really do have a real bromance going on. And it’s great to see.

Given their ages, Phillips and Rice can form the cornerstone of England’s midfield for the next seven or eight years.

It is brilliant to see the Leeds and West Ham fans now praising both players for their abilities rather than constantly comparing them against one another.
