West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui replaced David Moyes at the London Stadium three months ago.
Julen Lopetegui has made a slow start to life in charge of West Ham, with a certain section of the fanbase yearning for a David Moyes return.
Under Lopetegui, the Hammers have taken just five points from our opening six Premier League games, and have been dumped out of the Carabao Cup at the third round stage.
A recent report out in Spain claimed that Lopetegui’s job is actually already under threat.
However, claims in England suggest that that is in fact far from the case, and the 58-year-old retains the full support of the board.
Either way, Lopetegui must get some positive results quickly if he is to turn the tide.

It would be nice if we saw West Ham play with a specific footballing identity as well. Right now everything looks so disjointed.
There is obviously a lot of work to be done at the London Stadium, and I actually have full faith that the Spaniard will turn things around.
However, if he fails to do that, could we see a managerial change in East London before the end of the season?
Julen Lopetegui update amidst potential David Moyes return rumours
The Scot has been mooted as a potential replacement for Lopetegui, if the Spaniard is indeed moved on.
So could the unthinkable really happen?

Well, one of the top journalists in the game has thrown his two pence into the mix.
Fabrizio Romano explained via his Daily Briefing
“Despite West Ham’s struggles and talk of a possible return for David Moyes as manager, I have zero information on this – zero confirmation, nothing at all.“
“West Ham as a club keep supporting Julen Lopetegui and waiting for better results after many player changes in the summer.“
“I have no info on Moyes returning or any idea, discussion or contact so far.”
There you have it then – Romano has received no information regarding a potential return to the Hammers for Moyes.
And if there were whispers doing the rounds, the Italian definitely would have heard them.
Moyes return a no-go thankfully
Whilst Julen Lopetegui may well be struggling in his role as Hammers boss right now, the worst thing we could do as a club is re-appoint Moyes.
The Scot oversaw a disastrous five months of football during the second-half of last season.
The football was utterly turgid, the players stopped playing for him, downing tools in the process, and to label the defending as schoolboy standard would be doing a disservice to school children who play football.
West Ham shipped 74 goals in the Premier League last season – a tally worsened only by the three relegated clubs.
The Hammers were an utter mess top to bottom.
Whilst Julen Lopetegui is struggling badly right now, let’s not pretend that the final few months with David Moyes at the helm was anything to write home about.
I hope we’re never linked with Scot again. Moyes did a great job for us for three-and-a-half years, but he stayed for a season too long.
Let’s not go back there please.
