So West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui looks set to begin his assault on the summer transfer window.
Julen Lopetegui has a big rebuild on his hands at West Ham, and has already made some moves in the transfer market.
The Hammers appear to be on the verge of sealing a £12.8 million deal for Brazilian defender Fabricio Bruno.
The 28-year-old will certainly bring some much needed dogged determination and tenacious tackling to our back-line, but Lopetegui seems to be intent on bolstering his attacking department as well.

Wesley Gassova has been attracting attention from the Hammers since Tim Steidten’s successful scouting mission to Brazil.
So could he become Lopetegui’s second signing for the Hammers after Bruno? It seems like that could well be the case…
Wesley Gassova could well be West Ham bound
The Corinthians winger seems all set for a big move from Brazil to the Premier League.
I would absolutely love him at West Ham, but his manager certainly doesn’t agree with that sentiment!
Corinthians boss António Oliveira opened up to Rádio Itatiaia on his concerns about Wesley joining the Hammers this summer.
The South American responded when asked about the Hammers’ interest in signing the 19-year-old winger…

He said, “I am worried. I am a coach and I want those who can help us achieve something, he is fundamental. Therefore, it [losing him] is something that worries me as a coach.”
West Ham are said to be in pole position in the race to sign the talented teenager, and will need to pay at least £20 million to get a deal for him over the line.
He’s a real talent and one of the hottest commodities in South America right now, so signing him would represent a real coup for West Ham.
The Hammers desperately need to sign a right-footed left winger, so Wesley Gassova will have pretty much a free run at that role next season.
He’s an exceptionally talented young player with immense skill, blistering pace and a wicked shot in his arsenal.
Let’s hope that the Corinthians manager’s concerns are well founded, and we see the youngster arrive at the London Stadium this summer.
Two Brazilians in and two out?
Bruno and Wesley look set to be Lopetegui’s first two signings at the London Stadium.
However, we could lose two South Americans this summer as well. Lucas Paqueta is the obvious one, with Manchester City lining up a big money move to sign the 26-year-old this summer.
The other Brazilian who could be exit bound is Luizao, with numerous clubs in his homeland thought to be trying to sign him.
So it could well be a case of two Brazilians in and two out this summer.
Whilst Bruno is an obvious upgrade on Luizao, we will have to hope that Wesley is capable of filling the void left behind by Paqueta, if the former Lyon man does in fact leave the club.
