Jose Mourinho has credited West Ham for Tottenham’s upturn in form, as quoted by the Independent.

Spurs are currently sitting pretty in second spot in the Premier League table just one point adrift of league leaders Leicester City.
The north London outfit have won their last three games in the league including a hard-fought 1-0 win over Burnley, a 2-1 victory over Brighton and their last-gasp 1-0 win over West Brom yesterday.
Tottenham seem to be one of the teams to beat this season. It would be no surprise to see them up there challenging for the Premier League title come May.
It seemed as though that wouldn’t be the case when West Ham came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Mourinho’s men last month, however.
The Spurs players seemed beaten and mentally drained.
And Mourinho has credited the West Ham game for his side’s recent run of victories, as quoted by the Independent:
“I am not going to say we are not going to lose matches or lose points in the last minutes, it can happen to anyone. We felt the pain against West Ham and since then strategically the team is behaving in a different way. The two clean sheets at Burnley and at West Brom showed the lesson – a team in the last five minutes that was very solid, it looked like the pain made a positive effort and the team improved after that.”
In fairness, the Tottenham players deserve great credit for bouncing back so quickly from what must have been a seismic blow.
Let’s just hope that we haven’t given them the motivation they need to go on and win the title!
