Joe Cole praised West Ham ace Sebastien Haller when speaking on the All To Play For podcast.
Report: £450k-a-wk ace will take 90% pay cut as West Ham lurk
The 26-year-old joined the Hammers from Eintracht Frankfurt for £45 million in the summer of 2019 (BBC).
Sebastien Haller has really struggled since moving to the London Stadium, however.

The Ivory Coast international has shown fleeting glimpses of what he is capable of.
Haller’s record of 14 goals in 49 games for West Ham quite simply isn’t good enough for a £45 million striker.
David Moyes clearly favours Michail Antonio. The Scot seems to find it very hard to praise Haller.
Joe Cole backed the Ivorian to succeed at West Ham, however, when speaking on the All To Play For podcast:

“He’s unreal. You can’t knock Haller, he keeps coming back and he keeps getting chances. I watched him for Frankfurt and thought, ‘This kid’s a handful’. He’s not really kicked on after a decent start and if he shows a bit more aggression. If he does that the West Ham fans will grow to love him.”
Joe Cole has hit the nail on the head there.
Haller has so much talent but if he made more of a nuisance of himself and was more aggressive in the aerial challenge, the fans would warm to him so much more.
In fairness to the 26-year-old, he has looked a lot better in the last few games.
Haller needs to keep producing the goods if West ham are to enjoy a successful campaign this season. It remains to be seen whether he will keep his place in the team when Michail Antonio returns to action, however.
