And just when West Ham fans thought they couldn’t love Lingard any more right now, he rocks up to the training camp wearing a full West Ham tracksuit.
The rest of the squad turned up in plain clothes and casual wear.
But Lingard – in what could be construed as another big hint over where his future lies – opted for his navy blue West Ham Umbro gear.
After his call-up was confirmed last Thursday Lingard dropped one of his biggest hints yet he wants to remain at West Ham beyond this season.
Club insiders have said he wants to stay.
And the midfield ace’s brother dropped a “new home” hint on social media while wearing a West Ham shirt ahead of Lingard’s England recall.
Unsurprisingly West Ham fans lapped it up when they saw Lingard arrive at St George’s Park in his Hammers clobber.
