Jesse Lingard suggested that he hasn’t yet reached his peak, when speaking to the Evening Standard, whilst admitting that he is loving playing football at West Ham at the moment.

The 28-year-old joined the Hammers on loan from Manchester United in January.
And Lingard has already made a huge impact at the London Stadium.
The attacking midfielder has racked up five goals and two assists in seven games for West Ham thus far.
He has been rewarded for his fine form with the Hammers by being called up to the England national squad again.

Lingard impressed upon his return to the Three Lions starting XI last night with a solid display against San Marino.
The fact that Jesse is once again part of the England squad should enhance West Ham’s chances of signing him on a permanent basis in the summer.
At least he knows that he will be considered for England whilst at West Ham.
Jesse Lingard loving life at West Ham
The 28-year-old is already a huge fan favourite at the London Stadium.
And Jesse told the Evening Standard just how much he is enjoying his football at the moment:

“Players are obviously used to playing full seasons and I don’t think I’ve ever played a proper full season before. I still feel like I’m 25. A lot more players have played full seasons. So I don’t feel like I’m at my peak yet. If I carry on this form, consistency and focus, we’ll see what the future holds. I’m happy at the moment, playing football with a smile on my face and that’s the main thing. When I went on loan, I had to start quick. I’m comfortable. Now it’s just about keeping consistency – that’s what I’ve lacked sometimes over the years. It’s about focus, going into each game with the same mentality. I think I can go far. There’s a lot more to come, but I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
If Lingard continues his fine form, his signature will be highly in demand in the summer.
He is clearly loving life at West Ham, however. And if he is as comfortable in East London as he says he is, there is no reason why we won’t be able to make his deal permanent in the summer.
