West Ham Unietd earned a vital three points away at Tottenham last night, and Jarrod Bowen has opened up on the half-time message given to the players by David Moyes.
David Moyes was visibly delighted on the touchline as Jarrod Bowen and his West Ham teammates managed to turn things around after the break against Tottenham.
It was a famous night in north London for the Hammers, and the incredible 2-1 could end up being a huge turning point in our season.
We were like a completely different side in the second 45. Lucas Paqueta epitomised that after his woeful first half display, with the Brazilian coming out with a point to prove in the second-half.
The match began in disastrous fashion for West Ham, after Tottenham put us under the cosh from the very first whistle.
They were suffocating us, and led 1-0 after 11 minutes from a Cristian Romero header. Things could have got a whole lot worse, but we managed to see things out until half-time with just a one-goal deficit to cope with.
Moyes undoubtedly got in to his players during the half-time interval, but what did he actually say to them?

Jarrod Bowen on David Moyes half-time message
The England international spoke to reporters after our dramatic 2-1 win in north London last night.
And Bowen responded when asked by Dan Walker on Amazon Prime (Thursday December 8th, 10:21pm) what Moyes said to the players during the break:
“This season, we have conceded a lot of goals inside those first 15 minutes (of the second-half). We were 1-0 down and under pressure a bit, so I think the main thing was not to concede and then start off better than we did in the first-half. Straight away from the kick-off, we pressed in the corner and set the tone for the second-half.”
Fair play to Moyes, Bowen and the rest of the lads last night. However, my issue with it is why on earth don’t we start games like that?
The 60-year-old Hammers boss would be a huge favourite with the fans if he approached all games like he did the second-half last night.
The football was exciting to watch, the passing crisp and incisive and the tempo was a high one, with every single West Ham player showing up to the party.
The first and second-half performances from West Ham against Tottenham were like night and day last night.
Jarrod Bowen made it very clear after the match that his teammates and David Moyes were desperate to turns things around at half-time. And unbelievably, they managed to do exactly that. COYI X
