The mercurial midfielder joined the Hammers for around £24 million from Villarreal in the summer of 2019 (BBC).
Despite a slow start to life at West Ham, he now looks like a real player.
The Spaniard does not stop working for his teammates and he has genuine quality in the final third as well.

The London Stadium faithful absolutely love Pablo Fornals. David Moyes clearly does as well.
It seems as though Fornals has admirers outside of east London was well, however.

Michail Antonio and Declan Rice received all the plaudits for the Hammers’ win over Leeds on Saturday.

Fornals put in his usual hard-working performance, however. The Spaniard went under the radar again, but Wilshere clearly appreciates the job his former teammate does:

Wilshere has hardly endeared himself to the Hammers fans recently. His two-year spell in East London was disastrous and then he made derogatory remarks about West Ham after leaving.
Perhaps his comments on the Spaniard will ease tensions between him and the London Stadium faithful though.
The majority of West Ham fans realise just how important Fornals is to Moyes’s team.
If he adds regular goals and assists to his game, and maintains his tireless work-rate he really could become an elite player.

We are very lucky to have Pablo Fornals at West Ham. And Wilshere clearly holds the same viewpoint.
