Injured star Gianluca Scamacca showed his support for West Ham from home as he closes on a return ahead of Chelsea.
As reported by Hammers News ahead of the Newcastle game, £35m striker Scamacca had the last of three injections in his knee in midweek.
The Italian has been out with a knee injury since scoring in the 2-2 draw at Leeds last month.
90min had claimed there were ‘ongoing concerns’ over the Scamacca injury with extent of the problem being kept under wraps by West Ham.
But, as reported by Hammers News previously, Scamacca took to social media to deny those claims saying “soon back”.

Scamacca has been receiving a course of treatment for his knee injury that includes platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections.
They are a form of regenerative medicine which uses the player’s own blood platelets to accelerate the healing process.
The striker has had a course of three injections – each a week apart.
Scamacca had his final knee injection ahead of a West Ham return in midweek.
David Moyes revealed the last of the three injections for the Hammers star was on Wednesday.
And the Scot gave an encouraging update on the striker earlier this week, describing him as ‘fine’ (whufc.com).
The game against Newcastle was always likely to come too soon with the Chelsea clash next Saturday more realistic – as originally forecast.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Scamacca posted a picture of the West Ham vs Newcastle match on TV with the caption: “C’mon Irons” alongside a Hammers emoji.
West Ham could really do with a boost by having Scamacca back for Chelsea.
The injuries are starting to pile up for Moyes at the worst possible time with Chelsea and Spurs on the horizon and Premier League survival at stake.
And there are concerns around a host of players after the Newcastle clash.
