Injured striker Gianluca Scamacca has spoken out on Instagram and it’s huge news for West Ham and David Moyes.
In a week of bad news on the injury front, there is a ray of hope for the Hammers it seems.
West Ham’s £35m summer signing Scamacca has been out with a knee injury since scoring in the 2-2 draw at Leeds earlier this month.
Given West Ham’s problem scoring goals this season, his absence has been a major concern.

There was relief then when it was claimed Scamacca could be back for the home game against Chelsea in a few weeks.
Especially after new signing Danny Ings picked up his own knee injury less than 24 hours after being unveiled by West Ham.
But there was an absolutely crushing new claim made about the injury to Scamacca overnight.
90min claimed there were ‘ongoing concerns’ over the Scamacca injury with extent of the problem being kept under wraps by West Ham.
And while Scamacca has been pencilled in for the Chelsea clash, it is claimed that sources have told 90min there are ‘genuine concerns’ the 24-year-old could be sidelined for anywhere between six to 10 weeks.
The Italian appears to have denied those claims, though.
Injured striker Scamacca has spoken out on Instagram and it’s huge news for West Ham and Moyes.

The striker has today posted a picture of him celebrating on his Instagram stories with the words: “Soon back” alongside a flame emoji.
What an absolutely massive relief.
Scamacca may not have set the world alight since his move but he is the club’s top scorer this season.
He has looked classy and lethal at times but has – due to the way Moyes sets up the team – been starved of service in most matches.
Having him back soon will be vital for West Ham’s hopes of staying up, make no mistake about that.
