One West Ham United player is clearly finished at the London Stadium, after today’s superb win over Wolves.
West Ham put in one of our very best all-round displays in the Premier League this season with a convincing 3-0 win over Wolves.
Hammers boss David Moyes will be delighted with the win and the performance today, and Roy Keane has backed us to finish inside the top seven this season.
It really was a fantastic day all around for everyone involved with West Ham, well…all but one.
Maxwel Cornet was completely omitted from the match-day squad today today, and he will surely realise that his time at the London Stadium is done now.
The 27-year-old has been given just 119 minutes of action this season, and his lack of game-time recently is probably down to the fact that Moyes doesn’t want him to get injured before the January transfer window opens, in my opinion anyway.
The fact that he wasn’t included in the squad at all today was a real slap in the face for the Ivorian winger…

Cornet can’t do much more can he?
He came on as a second-half substitute against TSC Backa Topola in the Europa League a few weeks back, and made a huge difference for us, providing an assist for Tomas Soucek to secure us a late 1-0 win.
Since then, Moyes has given him just two minutes of action – a late cameo appearance against Freiburg on Thursday night.
And then today, the Scot left him out of the squad entirely – utterly baffling if you ask me.
The answer is simple now for Cornet though, he has to leave the London Stadium in the January transfer window.
What a day it was for the West Ham fans today at the London Stadium, with the players putting in a top-class display against Wolves.
Everyone would have gone home happy this afternoon, apart from Cornet of course. And I can’t help but feel like Moyes has failed to get the best out of the Ivory Coast international since he joined us in the summer of 2022.
