Julian Nagelsmann could take over as the new Tottenham manager, and that’s great news for West Ham for two reasons!

According to respected German publication BILD, Tottenham could appoint Julian Nagelsmann, with the German very keen to take over as manager of the North London club.

That’s great news for West Ham, with David Moyes looking increasingly more likely to leave the London Stadium this summer.

Will Still is one of the names on the Hammers’ shortlist to replace the Scot (Foot Mercato). Vincent Kompany is another manager West Ham are believed to be closely monitoring (TEAMtalk).

However, the 30-year-old Reims boss is also on Tottenham’s radar. And the same can be said of the 37-year-old Burnley manager.

So should Spurs go ahead and appoint Nagelsmann, the door should be wide open for the Hammers to move for either Still or Kompany…

Julian Nagelsmann taking over at Tottenham would be superb for West Ham

BILD suggest that the German is very tempted indeed to take over as the new Spurs boss.

If Nagelsmann is named the new Tottenham manager, the West Ham fans should be very happy indeed. Don’t get me wrong – the German is an exceptional young manager.

The Bundesliga’s official website described the 35-year-old as a visionary with a revolutionary approach to the game.

He would be a very good appointment for the north London club in my opinion, but it might just work out really well for West Ham too.

Either Will Still or Vincent Kompany would be dream appointments for the Hammers. They are two of the very best, most intense and brilliantly visionary young managers coming through the ranks at the moment.

I think that the Reims or Burnley managers would take West Ham to whole new level, if either one of them replaces David Moyes at the end of this season.

And Tottenham appointing Julian Nagelsmann should make our task of bringing either Still or Kompany to East London a whole lot easier.
