Dinos Mavropanos was the man of the match in West Ham’s 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the London Stadium.
Not only did he score the equalising goal from Jarrod Bowen’s corner, but he was also outstanding defensively.
Mavropanos has since been nominated for a Premier League award alongside Arsenal’s 16-year-old wonderkid Max Dowman

Konstantinos Mavropanos nominated for Premier League Player of the Matchweek
Mavropanos is up against Dowman, Bruno Fernandes, Richarlison and Anthony Gordon for the Premier League Player of the Matchweek award.
The Premier League wrote about the Hammers defender: “Mavropanos equalised with West Ham United’s only shot against Manchester City, rising to head the ball in from Jarrod Bowen’s corner.
“The towering Greek centre-back then starred in the hosts’ superb backs-to-the-wall display as they picked up a well-earned point, winning all of his ground duels, along with making ten clearances and four blocks – including a heroic one with his face from a ferocious Erling Haaland shot.”
West Ham supporters can now help Mavropanos beat Dowman, Fernandes and co by voting for him on the Premier League website.
And perhaps some Arsenal fans will vote for their former defender, considering the huge boost he has given them in their title race against Man City.
It was probably the 28-year-old’s finest performance in his Premier League career, so it would be fantastic to see him lift the award.
