West Ham were heavily linked with a move to sign Hwang Hee-chan from RB Leipzig in the summer but he ended up joining Wolves instead.

The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes made a late summer transfer window move to bring the 25-year-old attacker to the London Stadium.
The South Korea international joined Wolves on August 29th, however, on a season-long loan deal.
The Black Country outfit have an option to buy Hwang as well.

The Hammers desperately needed to sign a striker to provide competition and cover for Michail Antonio.
Moyes ended up bringing attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic to the London Stadium instead though.
Perhaps allowing Wolves to sign the South Korean was a big mistake from West Ham and Moyes though.
Hwang has made a sizzling start for Bruno Lage’s side with three goals in four Premier League games so far including a superb brace against Newcastle United at Molineux yesterday.
He really does seem to be tailor made for Premier League football.
Wolves have the option to sign him for just £13 million in the summer (Buli News).
What tremendous value that may turn out to be. It is still very early days of course. But the early signs are that Hwang will be a huge hit at Molineux.

And perhaps David Moyes will end up regretting not bringing the South Korean forward to the London Stadium.
