Harrison Ashby is already an extremely popular player amongst the West Ham fans.

He is only 18, but has already made a huge impression at the London Stadium.

Ashby, a Scotland under-21 international burst onto the scene this season making two appearances for the senior side in the Carabao Cup.

And the young Hammer really impressed.

The 18-year-old is a dynamic right-back with bundles of energy and he plays with real determination, spirit and passion.

 

Ashby posted the below video to Twitter showing him crunching into a tackle during the Hammers under-23’s 4-2 defeat to Liverpool’s youngsters on Friday night…

And it seems to have earned him even more respect from some West Ham fans…

Ashby clearly has a great future ahead of him with the Hammers. And if the 18-year-old continues to work hard and remains focused, he could very well be the next big thing for us.

David Moyes will surely be extremely excited about Ashby. The youngster could very well be the real deal.

West Ham have a history of producing brilliant young players. Ashby might just be the next star in the making. The early signs are very good indeed for the promising youngster.

And if his crunching tackle against Liverpool is anything to go by, he could very well go on to become a Hammers legend.
