West Ham United could be dealt a big summer transfer window blow by Manchester United it seems.
The current summer transfer window is a hugely important one for both West Ham and Manchester United.
Julen Lopetegui needs to strengthen his squad in pretty much every position at the London Stadium this summer.
In fairness, you could say that Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is in the same boat at Old Trafford.
Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran is believed to be West Ham’s number one target right now, but there are other additions he desperately needs to make.
Both the Hammers and the Red Devils are expected to improve in the upcoming season.
Unfortunately for us though, Man United could be set to deal us a big blow before the new campaign has even begun.
West Ham blow as Manchester United eye Ferdi Kadioglu in the summer transfer window
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Man United are the front-runners in the race to sign Ferdi Kadioglu this summer – a player who Lopetegui is keen to bring to the London Stadium this summer.
How much would it hurt if we lost out on the 24-year-old to Man United!

He bagged three goals and five assists in 51 games for Fenerbahce last term (Transfermarkt).
In 37 Super Lig outings, he averaged two tackles and 1.6 clearances per match. During those appearances, he made 53.9 passes per game on average and recorded a completion rate of 84.8% (Who Scored).
Kadioglu possesses truly incredible technical ability, and is extremely press resistant due to his composure in possession.
Turkish football scouting and analysis site Emir Scouting have labelled the 20-capped Turkey international as ‘outrageously amazing’.
The reason why he’d be such a good signing for the Hammers is the fact that he’d offer us something completely different to what Emerson Palmeiri provides.
Kadioglu’s unbelievable technical ability means that he can invert into midfield from the left-back position, and signing a player like that will be crucial for Lopetegui, what with the way he likes his teams to build up play from the back on through the middle of the park.
Now though, West Ham’s hopes of signing Ferdi Kadioglu in the summer transfer window appear to be all but dead, with Manchester United apparently in pole position to obtain his signature.
It’s just a huge shame that the Hammers didn’t make a move to sign him sooner.
