Furious David Moyes slams ‘stupid’ West Ham boo boys and fires reminder to fans after smattering of jeers greeted the 1-1 draw with Brighton.

Moyes has quickly – and somewhat miraculously – turned West Ham from relegation candidates to genuine top four contenders.

And the Hammers have proved they are no flash in the pan, competing for the top four consistently over the last two seasons.

West Ham have stuttered since Angelo Ogbonna’s season-ending ACL injury coincided with the momentum killing international break.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Defeats on the road to Wolves and Man City were followed by a 1-1 draw at home against bogey side Brighton in midweek.

The performance was not great although the Hammers did create a number of chances to seal the win and had a goal bizarrely ruled out by VAR too.

Before the game Moyes told Brighton fans off for booing the Seagulls after they had drawn in their previous game.

Only to see some West Ham fans do the same following the draw between West Ham and Brighton. It comes just a few weeks after West Ham became the only side to beat Liverpool in the last eight months.

And a furious Moyes did not hide his disappointment when asked about the jeers, biting back at fans who booed his side and firing a reminder of what the club has achieved in recent times.

“I think really, the expectations of where the team have taken everybody to, there’s also got to be part of that where you say ‘Wait a minute here, your team is doing really well. Don’t be so stupid’,” Moyes told The Independent.

“There’s not a person at this club who deserved a boo!

“Not one person, because of what they’ve done at the club!”

Moyes is spot on.

The booing – from a minority it must be said – was pathetic.

West Ham have been a picture of consistency over the last two years and every player works their socks off for the side.

Anyone booing the team after the draw with Brighton needs to take a long look in the mirror and take Moyes’s words on board.
