Michail Antonio names five West Ham players he simply can’t handle after lifting the lid on life at the club as part of a new podcast.

As reported by Hammers News last night, Antonio has teamed up with Newcastle star and serial West Ham antagonist Callum Wilson for The Footballer’s Football podcast on BBC Sounds.

But a recent dip in form has seen him make headlines for a lack of goals instead.

West Ham fans have been debating whether Antonio needs any extra curricular distractions right now.

The first episode of The Footballer’s Football podcast was an interesting listen, though.

And speaking on the podcast, Antonio – renowned for his pace and power – revealed there are five West Ham players he simply cannot handle when it comes to energy, running and stamina.

Namely Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal, Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen.

“I’m the type of person where if I’m chasing somebody I’m going to hit a wall,” Antonio said on The Footballer’s Football podcast.

“If I try and get ahead and chase someone down, I’m going to pass out! There’s no way I can chase someone down (in training), that’s not for me.

“Bruv, Soucek, Vlad, Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma!

“Listen, I will make sure I am fit enough to play games. I know what I need to do (in training) to be fit enough to do my job but there’s NO WAY I’m keeping up with them guys. They are impossible.

“If I look up and pay attention to anybody else, that just messes with my whole flow and I’ll end up just throwing up… And I’ve got a phobia of throwing up!”

Let’s hope Antonio gets back to his best and leaves Chelsea feeling sick when they visit the London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
