Fans absolutely love what star Pablo Fornals has just done on his return to West Ham United from the Spain squad.

There was heartache for West Ham midfield ace Fornals when France beat Spain in the Nations League final on Sunday night.

Fornals is a huge favourite at West Ham and is one of the first names on David Moyes’s team sheet.

The 25-year-old has been so good for West Ham he earned a recall to the Spain squad last month.

West Ham form sees favourite Fornals win back place in Spain squad

And the midfield ace was selected again by Spain boss Luis Enrique for the Nations League finals squad.

Fornals played a huge part in Spain’s Under 21s winning the European Championships back in 2019.

And the West Ham star looked set to taste more international glory with his country when they went 1-0 up against France in the Nations League final on Sunday night.

But the Spaniards ended up losing 2-1 despite the Hammers star’s best efforts to carve out an equaliser when coming on as a late substitute.

Hammers fans adore ‘fan on the pitch’ Pablo

West Ham fans adore Fornals because of his attitude, workrate and the way he has thrown himself into life in east London.

Watching Fornals play in the famous claret and blue you could be forgiven for thinking he was born in Plaistow and grew up watching West Ham in the old Chicken Run at Upton Park such is the passion he shows.

Well now West Ham fans are loving Pablito even more after he elected to jump on an easyJet flight back to England from Spain.

Down-to-earth West Ham ace ‘happily chatted to fans’ on easyJet flight to Luton

While other stars such as France’s Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane took a private jet, down-to-earth Fornals jumped on the budget airline flight and reportedly chatted to people and fans along the way (The Sun).

Manchester United duo Pogba and Varane were pictured showing off their Nations League winners medals on a private plane together.

Meanwhile West Ham’s Fornals ‘happily chatted with other passengers in a massive passport queue at Luton’ having taken an easyJet flight.

What a guy.

Moyes will be pleased Fornals was not flogged and should be fresh for Everton

It is a sad state of affairs that we praise footballers for doing something so normal and nice.

But on the flip side, fame has it’s ugly elements and being constantly pestered for photos, autographs or even abused by some must be wearing.

One positive for West Ham boss Moyes from the international break is that Fornals got a bit of a rest.

And he will – as ever – undoubtedly be in the starting XI for the trip to Everton on Sunday.
