Fabrizio Romano throws cat amongst pigeons with Dusan Vlahovic to Chelsea verdict that’ll impact West Ham United.

The well-respected Italian journalist took to Twitter last night to deliver an update on Chelsea’s supposed interest in signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus this summer, and there could be a knock-on effect for West Ham.

The reason why Romano’s latest update on Vlahovic will affect West Ham is because we apparently want to bring Chelsea striker Armando Broja to the London Stadium this summer.

It’s no surprise that Hammers boss David Moyes might want to sign the Albania international in the summer transfer window – the Scot is in desperate need of a top-class centre-forward, with all of his current strikers facing uncertain futures with the club.

Broja has all of the attributes that Moyes loves – he’s strong, has exceptional technique, is very good when playing with his back to goal and will always make tireless runs into the channels to help create more space for his teammates.

Chelsea signing Vlahovic from Juventus would obviously improve our chances of bringing Broja, 21, to East London this summer. So what are the chance of that happening?

The famous Italian football journalist took to Twitter last night to deliver an emphatic update on the Blues’ supposed interest in signing the Serbia international:

That’s not good news for West Ham’s hopes of signing Broja one little bit.

All we can hope for is that Chelsea now go on the hunt for a new centre-forward.

Despite Broja suffering an ACL injury back in December, I still think he’ll go on to become an elite striker, and would be the absolutely perfect forward signing for us this summer.

However, with Chelsea apparently not even discussing a move to sign Dusan Vlahovic, the Hammers might have to wait before we can move in on Broja.
