Links have gone quiet over the past week. But it seems as though the Hammers are still very much after the French centre-back.

The respected Italian journalist has suggested that the Hammers are still keen on the 26-year-old with Chelsea trying to push him out the door to make way for Jules Kounde:

And then Sport Italia journalist Gianluigi Longari leant credence to those claims by suggesting that Zouma joining West Ham could be imminent:

Let’s hope that David Moyes manages to bring Zouma to the London Stadium before the transfer window slams shut.

The Chelsea ace is a top class player. The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg reckons that the 26-year-old will cost around £25 million.

That’s very good value.

And with just nine days remaining before the transfer window slams shut, West Ham had better get their act together.
