Mason Terry is one of many West Ham youngsters on loan at other clubs in the 2025/26 season.
Terry completed his third loan move last summer after his two previous stints at Concord Rangers and Hornchurch.
The goalkeeper is now excelling at Braintree Town in the National League, and he is not hesitant to tell everyone.
He even mentioned following in the footsteps of England’s number one, Jordan Pickford, in a recent interview.

Mason Terry following Jordan Pickford’s pathway with National League loan
Although Braintree are struggling down in 22nd position, Mason Terry still feels he is having a great season.
They have conceded fewer goals (56) than eight other National League teams, suggesting their attack is to blame.
Terry has now reflected on his loan move to the Essex-based club with nine games to go in a tight relegation battle.
“Going on loan to Braintree meant I could continue to live at home, still be around the West Ham training environment, while also playing men’s football in the National League,” he told whufc.com. “A lot of West Ham fans come down to watch the games as well.
“It’s been a tough season as a collective and our league position, but individually, I think I’ve been excellent. I still believe that we can get out of the relegation zone, I really do.
“I’ve got over 120 men’s games under my belt now, which is incredible. That’s all I’ve ever wanted to do – just go and play men’s football.”

Terry compared his journey to Jordan Pickford and several other Premier League stars who started their careers in the lower leagues.
“I never cared what level it was,” he added. “It was just about going out there and getting experience. Aaron Ramsdale, Nick Pope, Jordan Pickford and Joe Hart have all followed similar paths, going out and playing men’s football at a young age, and that’s exactly what I wanted to do.
“Building my CV up, each year, going up a league. Hopefully, I can continue to do that. I’m ready now to finish the season strong, and leave my all out on the pitch for Braintree!”
It will be interesting to see what West Ham decide to do with Terry over the summer.
Another loan deal at a League One or League Two team could be the sensible next step in his development.
