West Ham United are acting efficiently and ruthlessly in the summer transfer window it seems.
Julen Lopetegui has already brought three new signings to West Ham in the form of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
Next up for the Hammers boss this summer will most likely be the addition of an exciting new centre-forward.
It has been claimed that Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran could be the man for the job at the London Stadium, after West Ham lodged a big-money bid for the Colombian.
Granted, the signing of a top-class striker should be Lopetegui’s main priority between now and the end of the transfer window.
However, it could be argued that the Spaniard actually needs to strengthen every single department of his squad before the start of the new season.
That said, he’s already addressed the weakest department at the London Stadium with the signing of Kilman from Wolves.
West Ham paid £40 million to prise the 27-year-old away from Molineux last week (The Guardian), and big things are expected of the towering centre-half.
He has already spoken about how excited he is at the prospect of playing in front of our fans.

Craig Dawson lifts lid on Max Kilman chat
Former West Ham defender Craig Dawson has opened up on something Max Kilman asked him before joining the Hammers.
Dawson earned cult hero status at the London Stadium, and he only left the club in order to move back closer to his family.
And now it seems as though he’s done us a massive favour.
Dawson spoke to Wolves’ official website after Kilman left Molineux to move to the London Stadium.
And the former Hammer spoke highly of the centre-back.
Dawson said, “It’s obviously sad that Max isn’t here, but it’s a great opportunity for him and I wish him the best of luck. He’s been great to play with the last couple of seasons, so I can only wish him the best of luck. Max is a good friend, so he spoke to me (about the move). It’s a great move for him, closer to home, so we wish him luck, but not too much when we play each other.”
What I love about this is Dawson clearly told Kilman good things about West Ham.
As the 34-year-old said, he is very good friends with the new Hammers signing.
With that in mind, Kilman surely would have placed great value on whatever Craig Dawson said about West Ham.
The no-nonsense Wolves defender was a hugely popular figure in East London, and after his latest comments on Kilman, his legend will grow even more.
