Every West Ham player selected for the World Cup

West Ham’s two best players, Jarrod Bowen (England) and Mateus Fernandes (Portugal), will not be going to the World Cup.

Their controversial omissions mean that only five Hammers will represent their countries on football’s greatest stage.

The latest West Ham player to book his ticket to North America is the Netherlands’ Crysencio Summerville.

Summerville missed out on his international first call-up in March due to a calf injury, meaning he has still not made his debut.

The winger will likely play a part in Holland’s friendlies against Algeria and Uzbekistan before the tournament starts.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s decision to switch allegiances from England to the Democratic Republic of Congo has already paid off.

Having already represented DR Congo at the Africa Cup of Nations, Wan-Bissaka will be one of their key players at the World Cup.

El-Hadji Malick Diouf plays for one of the dark horses to reach the latter stages of the World Cup, Senegal.

Senegal’s squad includes many past and present Premier League stars, such as Sadio Mane, Nicolas Jackson and Iliman Ndiaye.
